Guilds...
Is selling guilds against the rules?
If no, how much will one with a guild hall sell for? |

Naw...selling guilds isn't against the rules. Unless it's for something non game related (RL money, items, etc). As to what price...really depends on demand and what the GH contains. A sigil goes up and down in price but it's not that much. Next you start to add on amenities like Merch, Rune traders. Also...depends on the name of the guild. Crappy name = no sale. Then...there's the number of members and whether they are in alliance or not.
All said and done...I've seen them go for 10k all the way up the ladder with the average of around 15-20k. Just my 2 cents...I could be wrong. |

its going to be as difficult as selling starter and bonus items(you trash them).
that was a lil harsh, but yeah, if a person wanted a guild, they would probably make it themselves. its hard to keep focused on a new guild this late into the game. |

The only guilds that sell for a decent amound are champ range and/or have cape trim.

what subarucar said. Maybe if it's fully outfitted with npcs, u could fetch an ok price for it, but it will still be way less than all the money u spent on the npcs in the first place. if u have little to no npcs, u might be lucky to give it away . people wanting to start their own guilds will usually be willing to pay for the sigil to have custom name. only way someone would buy a non-trim guild is if ur getting all the npcs uber cheap.

99% of the time ull be spamming for hours for a 10k sell, or ull give up and give it away/disband it. Its simply not worth the time unless its champ range or trimmed.

Only way to sell a guild is to invite someone then promote them to leader. This means you are setting yourself up to be scammed. You can invite the person and promote them to leader and they don't pay you. Or the other side, you get the money, and never invite/promote the person. Because of this, nobody buys/sells a guild easily.
And as mentioned, people want a good name and a hall with as many NPCs as possible. If you aren't getting a 'deal' then there is no reason to buy a guild from someone else. Starting one yourself will allow you to pick a name you want, so the only reason to buy someone elses guild is a discount on NPCs or they have a trim. |
